I think I’ve talked about my love of corn mazes before, but if not, let me just say I love corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and corn pits. We never really went to any when I was kid, but a few years ago while visiting my sister in Minneapolis, we headed out to Sever’s Corn Maze, America’s largest corn maze.
It changed my life. Well..it was a lot of fun. There were pig races, a pumpkin slinger, lots of food on sticks, the corn maze of course, and my favorite the corn pit. Out first year in Nashville, we attempted to replicate the experience by going to a local corn maze. Umm…not so much. This year, we are going to try again. We found Lucky Ladd farms and according to the website, it sounds like there’s a possibility of corn pitting. I’ll report back next week. Maevy better like it!
Here’s the plan for the week-
Day 1- Ham & Broccoli Bake
Day 2- Spaghetti Squash
This is my first time making spaghetti squash. We’ll see how it goes.
Day 3- Fish with Orange Beuree Blac Sauce and Asparagus
Day 4- Ground Turkey Stroganoff
To make it a little healthier, I’m going to make my own basic cream sauce instead of using the canned cream of mushroom.
Day 5- Chicken with Goat Cheese & Arugula, Mashed Red Potatoes
Enjoy!
